Every Healing requires a death of some kind.

Every healing and transformational change in your life requires some aspect of your self to die so that something new within you can be born anew. Have you asked yourself, “What in me needs to die so that I may be healed?” Maybe it is the time to ask yourself such a deeply probing question and have Dr. Donovan at Soul Life Solutions help you find the answer.

Chronic illness and emotional struggle is often the evidence of this process in action. It is the evidence of your own true essence of being struggling to emerge from the transformative fires of chaos and affirm itself against the inertia and complacency of inauthentic and uncreative living. Illness is commonly the consequence of years of the suppressive and restrictive effects of fear and persistent denial on your life. Fear, complacency and denial are powerful obstructions to us on our path of transformation and self-discovery. They must be shattered and surrendered. Illness is often the very process needed for us to do this. But to do it successfully, we must be able to see the healing path presented to us by our illness and let go of those old and obstructive ways of being that need to die.

In his Soul Life Solutions counseling as a life transitions counselor, Dr. Donovan works with individuals, like your self, who may be in need of guidance as they find themselves struggling through the chaos of illness and life’s stressful challenges. Unlike his medical practice, in his role as a Soul Life Solutions counsellor, Dr. Donovan does not diagnose or directly treat physical or psychiatric illnesses. He does, however, guide you through your illness process and along your healing journey by helping you identify the transformative theme or reason for your struggle hidden within your illness experience. He further helps you navigate through that experience to discover your new path to healthful living. Because of Dr. Donovan’s forty plus years of clinical experience as a Naturopathic Primary Care Physician and Registered Nurse combined with his eleven years of formal training in Western Mystical Traditions, he not only can guide you through your illness process psycho-emotionally, spiritually, and mythologically but he can also offer educated guidance in the use of various nutritional and natural therapies, medical diagnostic procedures, and laboratory interpretation. “Dr. Patrick Donovan is my personal physician. While his “bedside manner” is sometimes a bit strong, I have complete trust in his passionate desire for my health! As would any good doctor, he monitors my health, questions my lifestyle, and makes sound observations. I take the supplements that he recommends to stay out of trouble with him  and I feel better for it.” —S.T.
