Our History

Meridian Medicine, formerly known as the University Health Clinic, was founded in 1983 in Seattle’s University District. In 2018, we grew into a larger space in Seattle’s Northgate neighborhood on the corner of Northgate Way and Meridian Avenue North.

We provide patient-centered, integrative primary care and digestive healthcare to patients in the greater Seattle area and beyond. Over the last thirty years, our physicians have worked to establish naturopathic medicine as an essential component of the greater medical community in Washington State. 

In support of that growth, we have expanded our offerings to include a medical doctor, chiropractic care, acupuncture and Reiki, as they are essential pieces to total wellness.

We work hard to find the most effective, least invasive treatments for you while integrating all forms of conventional and natural medicine. Our providers regularly utilize each other’s specialties and knowledge to better serve you and your family.
